How can admin accept or reject employees' pending leave applications?

The leave year end (LYE) process is an annual exercise conducted by the organization at the end of the leave year. It ensures that all leave-related details, such as lapses, encashments, and carry-forward balances, are in place before the next leave year begins. 


Processing the leave year-end automatically means utilizing automated software or systems to manage and handle the tasks associated with the end of the leave year.


To reject the employees' pending leave applications, the admin must perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin portal, navigate to Leave > Admin > Year End Process. The Year End Process page opens.
  2. Under the Pending Applications tab, you can view a list of all the leave applications pending approval.
  3. Select the checkboxes of the required employees.
  4. Click Accept or Reject on employees' pending leave applications.

Note: To remind a reviewer to clear the pending applications, click Remind as Email. The Send Reminder Mail pop-up appears. Click Confirm to send a reminder email to the reviewer.
