Why does an employee receive an error message “Something went wrong. Please contact the admin.” while activating the kiosk to capture attendance through facial recognition?

The greytHR Visage kiosk employs facial recognition technology to capture employee attendance based on facial features. 

To prevent the display of the error message "Something went wrong, please contact admin" when activating the kiosk for attendance capture through facial recognition, employees must :

  • Ensure the access rights are configured properly.

  • Maintain a stable and reliable network connection for optimal system performance.

  • Ensure the system is correctly configured, and the user has the necessary access rights.

  • Verify that the employee's face is successfully registered in the system for accurate identification.

  • In the event of server-related problems, contact the developer to promptly address and resolve the issue.
