How can admin verify the insured member’s details submitted under 80D/80DDB in POI for all employees?

Section 80D offers a standard deduction for medical expenses, whereas Section 80DDB provides an extra deduction for expenses related to the treatment of a dependent with a significant disability. 

To verify the insured member’s details submitted under 80D/80DDB in POI for all employees, the admin must download the Proof of Investment Declaration Report and refer to the Covered Members Details column.

To generate the Proof of Investment Declaration Report, the admin must perform the following actions:

1. From the greytHR Admin portal, navigate to Reports > Reports > Reports Gallery. The Reports Gallery page opens.

2. In the search box, enter Proof of Investment Declaration. The Proof of Investment Declaration form opens.

3. From the Financial Year dropdown list, select the relevant financial year.

4. Select the All Employees or Selected Employees option as per your requirements.

5. Click Options, to customize the report.

6. Select the List of employees who has declared POI with zero values checkbox.

7. From the Report Output Type dropdown list, select the required format.

8. Click Save to update the customization.

9. Click Generate to generate the Proof of Investment Declaration report.

Note: The Recent Reports page displays the reports that you have recently generated. You can regenerate them by clicking on Run Again.
