How can admin add their employees' First Hire Date?

As an Admin, you can enter your employees' First Hire Date only if you have enabled the Multi Company Info feature. This date is relevant in cases where employees transfer from one company to another within the same company group. As a first step, you must add your entity company details to enable this feature. 


To add your entity company details, the admin must perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin portal, click the Settings icon > System Settings General Multi Company Info. The Multi Company Info page opens.

  2.  from the dropdown list available above the tabs, select the required company.

  3. Click the Company Info tab. A form appears.

  4. Under the Company Contact Details section, in Company Logo, click Upload Logo. The dialog box appears.

  5. Browse to the folder in your system, select the file, and click Open to upload the file.

  6. In the Company Name for Reports text box, enter the company name which you want on the report.

  7. In the Address Line 1 and Address Line 2 text boxes, enter the address of your entity company.

  8. In the City text box, enter the city name where the company is located.

  9. From the Country dropdown list, select the country where the company is located.

  10. From the State dropdown list, select the state where the entity company is located.

  11. In the Email Id text box, enter the email address.

  12. In the Mobile NoPhone No 1Phone No 2Fax No, and Ext text boxes, enter the mobile number, phone number, fax number, and extension.

  13. Under the Other Details section, in the Company PF No text box, enter the PF number.

  14. In the PF Suffix text box, enter the suffix letter for PF.

  15. In the Certificate No and PTO Circle No text boxes, enter the certificate number and circle number.

  16. In the Company PIN Code text box, enter the pin code of the company.

  17. In the Employer Account No and LIN No text boxes, enter the account number of the employer and LIN number.

  18. In the PF PrefixEstablishmentForm5 PersonCompany ESI NoOperating UnitLocation Code, and Set of Books ID text boxes, enter the required details.

  19. Click Save to add your entity company details.

After adding your entity company details, you can update the First Hire Date option from the Employee Profile page under the Joining Details section. 

 To add/edit the First Hire Date, the admin must perform the following actions:

  1. On the Employee Profile page, click the Edit icon on the Joining Details card. A form appears.

  2. From the First Hire Date dropdown calendar, add/edit the required date.

  3. Click Save to update the changes. A success message appears.
