How can admin update employee’s nickname?

Updating an employee's nickname refers to the process of modifying or changing the informal or preferred name by which an employee is commonly addressed within the organization.

An employee’s nickname appears on the Feeds page.


To update how an employee’s nickname displays on the Feeds page, the admin must perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin login, navigate to Employee Information Employee Profile. The Employee Profile page appears.
  2. From the Search Employee search box, search for the employee whose nickname you want to upload or update.
  3. Next to Employee Information, you can view an Edit icon. Click the Edit icon to modify the details under the Employee Information section. 
  4. In the Nick Name text box, enter the required nickname of the employee.
  5. Click Save to save the nickname of the employee.
