Geofencing is a tech tool that sets virtual boundaries around places, prompting actions when a device enters or exits. It's often used for marketing, tracking, and automated alerts.

An employee encounters access code errors while configuring geofence in the greytHR mobile application when they:

  1. Enters an incorrect access code.

  2. Attempt to enter a code used before.

  3. Try to validate the access code more than three days after receiving it via SMS.

The employee must complete the access code validation to configure the geofence location.
