Geofencing is a technology that enhances the tracking of employee attendance by creating virtual boundaries around specified locations.
After access code validation, if an employee's mobile app location settings are turned off, they cannot navigate to the latitude and longitude screen. In that case, they must provide the permission to access location on their mobile devices.
To provide the location access permission to the greytHR app, the employee must perform the following actions:
From the mobile application, navigate to Settings > App management > App list. The App List screen opens.
Note: The title names vary, depending on the device you own.
In the search box, type greytHR. App info screen opens.
From the App info screen, click Permissions. App permissions screen opens.
From the App permission screen, click Location. The Location permission screen opens.
Under Location Access For This App select the Allow all the time/Allow only while using the app option.
Once the employee turns on the device location, the app automatically directs employee to the page where latitude and longitude information displays.
