Yes, you can retrieve your password through the ESS portal. 

To retrieve your password, perform the following steps.

1. On the Login page, click the Forgot Password hyperlink.
2. Under Reset Password, enter your email ID in the text box. A link to reset the password is sent to this email address. 
3. Click the link that you received in your email. The Change Preference page appears.
4. In the Current Password text box, enter your current password.
5. In the New Password text box, enter your new password.
6. In the Confirm Password text box, retype the new password to confirm the new password.
7. Click Save. Your password is reset now.
