A restricted holiday is a optional holiday that is not included in the list of mandatory public holidays but is instead granted at the discretion of the employer or the individual.
To apply for a restricted holiday, the employee must perform the following actions:
- From the greytHR ESS login, navigate to Leave > Leave Apply. The Leave Apply page opens.
- Click Restricted Holiday. Applying for Restricted Holiday page opens.
- From the Select Holiday dropdown list select the respective holiday.
- Reporting manager details automatically updates in the Applying to search box.
- Under CC to, click +ADD to inform other team members about your restricted holiday.
- Under the Remarks text box, enter the remarks.
- Click Submit to apply for the restricted holiday.
