What are the pre-requisites for a seamless leave year ending process?

greytHR provides two methods to complete the Leave year-end process: 

  • Automatic leave year end process
  • Manual leave year end process 


However, as an admin, a few tasks need to be completed for the current leave year before you initiate the Leave year-end process. Following is the list of tasks:

  1. Ensure there is no leave request pending for approval. This is to make sure all employees leave are taken into consideration for the leave year-end activity.
  2. Edit the current leave policy with respect to the number of days to be lapsed, encashed, or carried forward, if required.
  3. Complete the leave year-end process automatically or manually (if you have selected automatic leave year-end process, now it’s time for you to relax. Leave year-end process on greytHR will happen automatically on the set date).
