greytHR provides two methods to complete the Leave year-end process:
- Automatic leave year end process
- Manual leave year end process
However, as an admin, a few tasks need to be completed for the current leave year before you initiate the Leave year-end process. Following is the list of tasks:
- Ensure there is no leave request pending for approval. This is to make sure all employees leave are taken into consideration for the leave year-end activity.
- Edit the current leave policy with respect to the number of days to be lapsed, encashed, or carried forward, if required.
- Complete the leave year-end process automatically or manually (if you have selected automatic leave year-end process, now it’s time for you to relax. Leave year-end process on greytHR will happen automatically on the set date).
