How can admin release IT declaration without processing payroll?

The IT declaration process involves submitting tax-related information to the relevant tax authorities. While the payroll process does impact the income tax calculation and withholding for employees, it is not a prerequisite for submitting the IT declaration. However, it's important to note that accurate payroll data is essential for correctly reporting income and taxes in the IT declaration

To release IT declaration for the current month without processing payroll, the admin must perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin portal, navigate to Payroll Admin Employee IT Declaration. The Employee IT Declaration page opens.

  2. From the Status drop-down list, select the status as Locked.

  3. Select the employees using the check boxes adjacent to the column Employee No.

  4. Click Release SelectedRelease All to release IT declaration for selected/ all employees.

  5. Release IT Declaration pop-up appears. Select the options as per your requirements.

  6. Click Release to release IT declaration successfully for the selected employees.
