Created by Raghul David, Modified on Tue, 20 Feb at 3:07 PM by Product Content Team

Proof of Investment (POI) refers to the documentation or evidence provided by an employee to support their investment-related claims and avail tax benefits under the income tax laws. It is required during the tax filing process to give proof of the investments made by the employee.

To claim these deductions, employees are required to provide proof or evidence of their investments or expenses. This proof is commonly known as Proof of Investment or POI. It serves as documentation to support the taxpayer's claim and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
