Why is an employee's attendance status is displaying as half/full day absent for a specific or multiple days?

If an employee's attendance status is displaying as half/full day absent on the Attendance Info page, it can be due to non-completion of the actual work hours based on his/her shift policy. 


If the employee's actual hours are less than the work hour defined for the shift allotted to him/her, then the attendance is displayed as Absent.
