How can admin change date and location of generated Form 16?

Employers issue Form 16 to their employees, providing them with information regarding their salary, deductions, and taxes for a specific financial year.


To change the date and location of the generated Form 16, the admin must perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin login, navigate to Settings icon > System Settings Income Tax Form 16 Options. The Form 16 Options page opens.
  2. Under the Particulars of the person responsible for form16, in the Location textbox, enter the location.
    Note: Ensure to select Use above location as signing location checkbox.
  3. Under the Form 16 Details section, from the Signing Date dropdown calendar, select the required date.
  4. Click Save to change the date and location of the generated Form 16.
