A resignation application is a formal request submitted by an employee to voluntarily terminate their employment with an organization. It serves as a formal notice of the employee's intent to resign and typically includes important details such as the effective date of resignation and any required notice period.

Accepting or rejecting an employee's resignation is done after carefully evaluating the reasons behind the employee's resignation.

To refuse an employee’s resignation application, the admin must perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin portal Workflow Review Resignation. The Resignation page opens and displays all the active resignation applications.
  2. Click on the application you want to refuse. The Resignation Review page opens.
  3. Click RevokeRevoking the application pop-up appears.
  4. Click Confirm to refuse the employee’s resignation.
