Attendance swipe is a method used to track employees' attendance and working hours. It involves the use of swipe cards, also called access cards, which employees are required to swipe at designated card readers or attendance terminals.

To enable/disable viewing of attendance swipe information for employees, the admin must perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin login, navigate to the Settings icon > User Administration > User > User Roles. The User Roles page opens.
  2. Select the employee card and click the edit icon. The form appears.
  3. From the Category dropdown list, select Attendance.
  4. In the table, uncheck the Read Access and Write Access checkboxes available next to the Show swipe tab and recent swipes in attendance info feature. Unchecking these boxes will restrict the attendance swipe information to your employees.
Note: Checking these boxes will display the Swipes tab on the Attendance Info page and block the Recent Swipes on the Attendance Info page.
  5. Check the Read Access and Write Access checkboxes available next to the Show summary tab in attendance info.
  6. Click Save to enable/disable viewing of attendance swipe information for employees.
