A Voluntary Provident Fund (VPF) is a savings scheme offered to salaried employees in which they can voluntarily contribute a higher percentage of their basic salary towards their provident fund account.

Employees can update/change the VPF declarations every month. However, you cannot declare a value less than the previous month’s declaration.
