Who can invest in Voluntary Provident Fund declaration?

Created by Product Content Team, Modified on Mon, 26 Feb at 1:02 PM by Product Content Team

A Voluntary Provident Fund (VPF) declaration is a document submitted by an employee to their employer expressing their intent to contribute a higher amount of their salary to the Employees'

Provident Fund (EPF) voluntarily. The EPF is a retirement savings scheme and the VPF allows employees to contribute an additional percentage of their salary towards their EPF account, beyond the mandatory contribution.

Anyone who receives a monthly salary and has an active EPF account can invest in VPF.
