In some organizations, employees may have designated days off or holidays during which they are not required to work.

When it is mentioned to customize the Last Working Day (LWD) if it falls on a week off or holiday, it means providing the flexibility for employees to adjust their final working day if it happens to coincide with a scheduled week off or a public holiday.

To customize the LWD if it falls on a week off or holiday, the admin must perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin login, navigate to Workflow Setup Workflow Levels. A page appears.
  2. Under the Active tab, select the required resignation workflow policy for which you want to change the LWD and click View Details. The settings page opens.
Note: You cannot edit the active policy, click the Disable button available on the required policy card to edit the policy.
  3. Click Workflow Policy. The page displays the workflow and LWD settings.
  4. Under the Last Working Day (LWD) Settings section, from the Select Last Working Day (LWD) if actual falls on a week off or holiday dropdown list, select the required Previous Working Day/Next Working Day option to avoid the LWD being a week off or holiday.
Note:  If you customize the option Select, the application considers the set LWD as the actual LWD even if it falls on a week off or holiday.
  5. Click Review and Submit to customize the LWD. A success message appears.
