How can admin enable option to consider Shift Roster over Shift Override changes?

The Shift Override page in the greytHR Admin portal enables you to override the existing shift details of one or more employees for a required calendar year.


The Shift Roster page in the greytHR Admin portal provides you with an overview of the existing shift plan of the employees.


To enable the option to consider shift roster over shift override changes, the admin must perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin portal, navigate to the Settings icon > System Settings > Miscellaneous > Advanced Options. The Advanced Options page appears.
  2. From the Select dropdown list, select Attendance
  3. In the Search search box, enter Consider Shift Roster Over Shift Override Changes
  4. From the table, under Caption, select the Consider Shift Roster Over Shift Override Changes checkbox. 
  5. Click Save to consider the shift roster over the shift override changes option.
