How can employees view Marginal Relief in their IT statement?

The employees can view the amount of Marginal Relief under rebate section 87A. The changes reflect in IT Statement in the ESS portal.

Marginal relief is a provision in the tax system that provides relief to individuals who fall under a specific income bracket and are subject to a higher tax rate due to their income crossing a certain threshold.

To view the Marginal relief, an employee must perform the following actions:

1. From the greytHR ESS portal, navigate to Salary > IT Statement. The IT Statement page opens and displays a list of income tax components.
2. Click the Download icon to download the IT statement. In the PDF, employees can view the Marginal Relief amount under Section 87A.
