How can employee apply for restricted holiday using ESS portal?

A restricted holiday is a optional holiday that is not included in the list of mandatory public holidays but is instead granted at the discretion of the employer or the individual. 


To apply for a restricted holiday, the employee must perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR ESS login, navigate to Leave > Leave Apply. The Leave Apply page opens.
  2.  Click Restricted HolidayApplying for Restricted Holiday page opens.
  3.  From the Select Holiday dropdown list select the respective holiday.
  4.  Reporting manager details automatically updates in the Applying to search box.
  5. Under CC to, click +ADD to inform other team members about your restricted holiday.
  6.  Under the Remarks text box, enter the remarks.
  7.  Click Submit to apply for the restricted holiday.
