Yes, the admin can rename the sessions that are defined for a workday in greytHR. By default the workday is divided into two sessions as Session 1 and Session 2.
Some organizations might prefer terms like First Half and Second Half or any other label as per their company policy. In such cases, the admins can rename or customize these leave labels from the Application Messages page. The admin must ensure to use the correct application key.
To rename the leave period to Session 1, the admin must perform the following actions:
From the greytHR Admin login, navigate to Settings icon > System Settings > Miscellaneous > Application Messages. The Application Messages page opens.
Click +Add New Message. The page appears.
Under Add Application Message, in the Key textbox add the key as Gts.label.leave.leavetransactiontype.fromsession. to update the Session 1 label.
In the Message textbox add a label as per your requirement. For example First Half.
Click Save to save the configuration. A success message appears.
To rename the leave period for Session 2, the admin must perform the following actions:
From the greytHR Admin login, navigate to Settings icon > System Settings > Miscellaneous > Application Messages. The Application Messages page opens.
Click +Add New Message. The page appears.
Under Add Application Message, in the Key textbox add the key as Gts.label.leave.leavetransactiontype.tosession to update the Session 2 label.
In the Message textbox add a label as per your requirement. For example Second Half.
Click Save to save the configuration. A success message appears.
Note:
This will update the labels for the From and To sessions within the Leave module to reflect any changes made to the session names.
This update applies only to the Leave module and doesnot impact the labels for Session 1 and Session 2 in other modules of greytHR including Attendance.
This update is also available in the greytHR mobile application.
