Why is admin unable to update House Property Income details of employees on Income Tax page?

Individuals who own a residential property that generates rental income or is self-occupied are eligible to claim deductions under Section 24. 

As an admin, you must ensure to enable the Income From House Property option on the IT declaration page.


To enable the option, you must perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin portal, navigate to the Settings icon > System Settings > Income Tax IT Declaration. The IT Declaration page opens.

  2. From the Financial Year dropdown list, select the required year.

  3. From the Category dropdown list, select All. The table displays the income tax options.

  4. Select the Income From House Property row and click the checkbox available under the Visible column.

  5. Click Save to enable the Income From House Property option on the IT declaration page.
