What is Form 12B?

Form 12B is a document used for providing details of income earned from previous employers during a financial year. It is typically required when an individual changes jobs in the middle of a year and needs to report their income from multiple employers to the current employer or the Income Tax Department.


The main purpose of the form is to help the new employers get details about their new employees and deduct TDS from the employee's salary for the rest of the financial year.
