What is the difference between posting permission request with and without rules for an employee?

The greytHR's Permissions page helps the employees to apply for permission in advance. It is necessary to keep track of the time an employee spends away from the office during office hours.

The difference between posting permission requests with and without rules for an employee is as follows:

  • Posting permission with rules: This option enables the system to check the minimum daily, weekly, and monthly permission limits. This is to ensure that the admin posts permission requests within the configured permissions policy.
  • Posting permission without rules: This option enables the admin to skip/override the rules and post permission transactions for employees. The admin can go beyond the configured permissions policy.
