How can admin send access code to the employees for marking attendance from mobile app?

An access code is a combination of letters, numbers, or symbols that serves as a secure means of authentication or authorization for accessing a particular resource, system, or service.  


To generate an access code for marking attendance from the Mobile app, the admin must perform the following actions:

  1. From your greytHR Admin portal, click Settings icon > System Settings > Attendance > Setup Guide. The Setup Guide page opens.
  2. Click the Define location for employees to mark the attendance option. 
  3. Click Generate Access Code. The SMS the generated key pop-up appears. The Code Key auto populates.
  4. From the Employee dropdown list, select an employee whose location you want to define.
  5. Click Send SMS to send the access code to the employee.
