No, as per the latest directive from the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization, a company must submit its employee’s bank account and Aadhaar details mandatorily while filing PF returns.
An employee's admin initiates a bank account data drive only for the purpose of collecting employee’s identification to submit PF returns. Employees' salary account or any transactions are not affected by the information they provide in any manner.
