How can employee apply for leave encashment?

The leave encashment allows employees to receive a financial payout in exchange for the unused leave days that they are entitled to as per their employment contract or company policy.


To apply for leave encashment, the employee must perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin portal, navigate to Leave > Leave Apply. The Leave Apply page opens.
  2.  Click Leave EncashmentApplying for Leave Encashment form appears.
  3.  From the Year dropdown list, select the respective year.
  4.  From the Leave Type dropdown list, select the leave type for which you want to encash.
  5.  In the Days text box, enter the days of leave to encash.
  6.  Reporting manager details automatically updates in Applying to search box.
  7.  In the Reason text box, enter a reason for encashing the leave. Click Submit to apply for leave encashment.
