How can admin view the history of an employee’s salary component?

Salary components encompass the various elements that contribute to an individual's overall compensation package. These components are designed to reflect the value of an employee's skills, experience, and contributions to the organization. 


To view the history of an employee’s salary component, the admin must perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin portal, navigate to Payroll Payroll Inputs > Salary. The Salary page appears.
  2. From the Search Employee search box, search for the employee whose salary component history you want to view. All the salary-related information of the selected employee is now visible on the Salary page.
  3. On the Salary page, under the Component Name table, open the component for which you want to view history. Let us consider the example of PF.
  4. Select the PF component. 
  5. On the right side of the screen, there is a History icon. Click the History icon. The History pop-up appears and displays the complete history of the employee's PF.
