How can admin assign tax regimes to employees?

The income tax regime refers to the set of rules and regulations governing the calculation and payment of income tax by individuals or entities. 


To assign regimes to employees, the admin must perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin portal, navigate to Payroll > Payroll Inputs > Income Tax. The Income Tax page opens.
  2. From the select an employee search box, enter the employee’s name or number whose regime you want to change.
  3. Click the Regime tab. The page displays the Regime.
  4. From the Regime dropdown list, select the required regime. 
  5. Click Save and Recalculate to assign tax regimes to your employees. A success message appears.
