How can admin rectify error message, Employee is not assigned to any attendance/shift scheme appearing on Attendance Info page?

You may get the error message Employee is not assigned to any attendance/shift scheme if the attendance/shift scheme is not assigned to the employee.


An attendance scheme defines the rules, parameters, and calculations used to determine attendance-related factors such as work hours, overtime, leave accrual, and attendance calculations.


To assign a shift/attendance scheme to the employee, the admin must perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin portal, navigate to Employee > Information > Position History. The Position History page opens.
  2. From the Search Employee search box, select the employee to whom you want to assign the shift or attendance scheme.
  3. In the Attendance Scheme card, click the Add/Edit icon. The form appears
  4. From the Effective From and Effective To dropdown calendar, select the required dates.
  5. Click Save to assign a shift/attendance scheme to the selected employee.
