How can admin edit filing type information for statutory requirements?

PF (Provident Fund), PT (Professional Tax), ESI (Employee State Insurance), and LWF (Labor Welfare Fund) are all statutory schemes or funds that require employers to make contributions and file regular returns to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
The greytHR's PF, PT, ESI, and LWF Filing Location page provides details on filing locations for statutory requirements.


To edit filing type information for statutory requirements, the admin must perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin portal, navigate to the Settings icon > System Settings > Payroll PF, PT, ESI & LWF Filing Location.
  2. Click the Edit Filing Type icon available on each row. The page expands. 
  3. In the Name text box, enter the name of the filing location.
  4. From the Type dropdown list, select the type of statutory requirement.
  5. Click Save. A success message appears.
