Overriding employees' attendance manually refers to the process of manually adjusting or modifying the recorded attendance data for employees in situations where there are inaccuracies or exceptions.

To manually override shift-wise attendance of employees, the admin must perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin login, navigate to Leave Admin Manual Override. The Manual Override page opens.
  2. Click the Shift Override tab. A form appears.
  3. Select the Single Shift/Multiple Shifts option as per your requirements.
Note: To override a shift for a single day, select Single Shift and the Override For single day option.
  4. From the Effective From and To dropdown calendars, select the required dates.
  5. From the Shift To Override dropdown list, select the required shift type.
  6. Using the Shift and Employee dropdown filters, select the required options to customize the employee search.
  7. Select the employees using the checkboxes.
  8. Click the Override button to override the attendance of the selected employees. A success message appears.

Note: An employee receives an email notification when the admin/manager changes the shift.
