How can admin set auto-lock for IT declaration?

IT Declaration, is the process where employees provide details of their income, investments, and expenses to their employer for the purpose of calculating the appropriate income tax deductions at source.


To set an auto-lock for IT declaration, the admin must perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin portal, navigate to the Settings icon > System Settings > Payroll > Payroll Preferences. The Payroll Preferences page opens.
  2. Under the Employee Declarations section, select Enable auto lock IT Declaration check box. 
  3. From Declarations will be auto-locked on the dropdown list, select the required day.
  4. From of dropdown list, select the required This Month/Next Month option.
  5. Click Save to set auto-lock for IT declaration. A success message appears.
