How can admin edit TDS?

TDS is the Tax Deducted at Source and applies to various types of income like salaries, interest, rent, and professional fees.The admin can edit the TDS of an employee on the greytHR's Salary page.

To edit TDS, the admin must perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin portal, navigate to Payroll Payroll Inputs Salary. The Salary page opens.

  2. In the Search Employee search box, search for the employee for whom you want to edit the TDS.

  3. In the Search by component search box, enter TDS.

  4. Select the TDS component you want to edit and click the Edit icon available on each component.

  5. The selected TDS component pop-up appears. 

  6. Click + Add row. A row adds to the table.

  7. Double-click the Amount column and enter the required amount.

  8. Click Save to edit the TDS. A success message appears.
