How can admin restrict employees to mark attendance from a specific location?

Marking attendance is the process of recording the presence of employees in an organization.


To restrict the employees to mark attendance from a specific location, the admin must perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin login, navigate to the Settings icon > System Settings > Attendance > Setup Guide. The Setup Guide page opens.
  2. Click Define location to allow employees to mark attendance card. The table appears.
  3. In the table, from the Employee Filter column, select the required filter. The Select Employee Filter pop-up appears.
  4. From the Employee Filter dropdown list, select the required option.
    Note: Admin can also create a new filter by clicking the Add Employee Filter + option.
  5. Click Save to restrict the employees to mark attendance.
