How can admin allow employees to change their password in greytHR mobile app?

The admin can set up user-roles-based restrictions and enable/disable the Employee Change Password option for employees to see the change password option in the greytHR mobile app.


To enable/disable the Employee Change Password option for employees, the admin must perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin portal, navigate to Settings > User Administration > User > User Roles. The User Roles page opens displaying a list of users.
  2. Select the required User and click the Edit icon available on the User card. A form appears.
  3. From the Category dropdown list, select Select Category.
  4. In the Search search box, type Employee Change Password. A table with the Employee Change Password feature appears.
  5. Select the Read Access and Write Access checkboxes to provide the access.
  6. Click Save to update the changes and provide access to the required users. A success message appears.
