What are the consequences if TCS/TDS is not declared by the employees?

The TCS/TDS Declaration allows employees to declare details of Tax Collected at Source (TCS) and Tax Deducted at Source (TDS).

If employees do not declare TCS/TDS, they pay more tax than necessary. The taxes already deducted or collected at the source are not adjusted against their final liability.
