We know that greytHR’s Tally JV (Journal Voucher) Integration feature is an integration of Tally with greytHR that automates the passing of a Payroll Journal Voucher from greytHR to Tally. To enable the integration, a .tcp (Tally Compliant Product) file must be uploaded to the Tally software.
To upload or add a .tcp file, perform the following actions:
On your Gateway of Tally software dashboard, in the top right corner, click F1:Help. A dropdown list appears.
Select the TDLs & AddOns option. The TDL Management page appears.
From the list of options available below the F1: Help menu, click F4: Manage Local TDLs. The TDL Configuration pop-up appears with the Load selected TDL files on startup field set as Yes by default.
Press the Enter key on your keyboard. The File Selection pop-up appears.
Click Select from Drive in the pop-up and press Enter. The pop-up displays your saved folders. For example - You have saved your .tcp file on your Desktop in the file named greytip.
Select Desktop and press Enter.
Select the folder Greytip and press Enter.
Select the Greytip.tcp file and press Enter.
Note: The Load TDL column is set as Yes by default.Press Enter. The File Selection pop-up appears.
Press Enter again. The loaded .tcp file now appears on the TDL Configuration pop-up.
After uploading the .tcp file, the next step is to configure the API credentials in Tally.
