As an admin, sometimes you need to allow an exception in attendance for an employee. This could have scenarios when an employee attends only one of the sessions in a shift or there is maintenance activity. greytHR facilitates you to do this.

To configure the attendance exceptions, the admin must perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin login, navigate to Leave > Admin > Attendance Exception. The Attendance Exception page opens.
  2. Click Add Exception. A form appears.
  3. In the Employee search box, search for the name of the employee for whom you want to add an exception.
  4. From the From Date and To Date drop-down calendar, select the date range.
  5. From the Status drop-down list, select the status to be associated with the exception.
  6. In the Reason text box, enter the valid reason.
  7. Click Save to configure the attendance exception. A message appears prompting that the exception is successfully saved and it then appears on the Add Attendance Exception page.
