How can admin create leave scheme?

A leave scheme refers to the specific set of rules, policies, and entitlements that govern the granting and utilization of different types of leave within an organization.


To create a leave scheme, the admin must perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR Admin portal, navigate to Settings icon > System Settings Leave Leave Scheme. The Leave Scheme page opens.
  2. Click + Add New Scheme. A form appears.
  3. In the Scheme Name text box, enter the name of the leave scheme.
  4. From the Weekend Policy dropdown list, select the required weekend policy. A table appears.
  5. In the table, under the Leave Policy column, double-click the row and select the required leave policy.
  6. From the Employee Filter dropdown list, select the required option.
    Note: Click the + icon next to the Employee Filter option to create a new filter.
  7. Click Save to create the new leave scheme.
