How can the manager manually override the attendance of a team member on mobile?

Overriding team members' attendance on a mobile application refers to the capability of managers or supervisors to manually modify or adjust a team member's recorded attendance data. 


To manually override the attendance of the team member, perform the following actions:

  1. From your greytHR mobile application, navigate to Explore Attendance Attendance Override. The Attendance Override screen opens.
  2. In the Select your teammate search box, enter the teammate’s name or ID. The screen displays a calendar.
  3. Select a date from the calendar. The screen displays the selected date cards. 
    Note: You can also select multiple dates to override the attendance.
  4. Tap the Override button. The Status Override and  Time Override tabs appear.
  5. To override the attendance status, select the required option under the Status Override tab, from the Session 1 and Session 2 dropdown list.
  6. Click Save to override the attendance status of your team member. A confirmation message appears.
  7. To override the attendance time, under the Time Override tab, select the required time and click Confirm from the First in Time and Last Out Time dropdown list.
  8. Click Save. The Attendance Override pop-up appears.
  9. Click Confirm. A success message appears.
